IDB to donate US $ 470,000 for logistical plan

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) will donate US$ 470,000 to the Panamanian Government to develop a national logistical plan to help boost economic sectors until 2030 ("Plan").

The Plan has a 6-month preparation term, which will be designed by a consortium through a competition designed by the Panamanian Government and the companies Spim SC, Abeceb and Briher, SA, in order to inject effectiveness in sectors such as (i) The third set of locks of the Panama Canal; (ii) port terminals; (iii) airports; (iv) the railway; (v) the national borders; and (vi) the country's duty free or special zones.
